We made a “long weekend” trip over the July 4th holiday to Bryson City, NC. I’ve posted all the photos and some of the video over on my MobileMe web gallery but I thought I’d post some of my favorites here during the next few days. We also ventured over to Cherokee and stopped at Tallulah Gorge on the way home.

This particular picture didn’t come out perfect but I did finally get what I consider to be a decent shot of the flowering Mountain Laurel.
