My lovely wife

img_1651I was very pleased with how this shot of Ginger turned out. On July the 4th we took about a 3 mile hike through the Great Smoky Mountains State Park. This shot was taken in front of Juney Whank Falls. I was trying to get sort of a Macro type feel but I couldn’t get far away enough given the terrain to and trail limitations to make that happen. Even so, I love this picture.

We’re getting settled in to the new house

Our little pondSo, we’ve been in the new house for over a week now and we’re finally starting to get settled in. We’ve still got some boxes to unpack, but we are at a point where we can at least relax without looking around and thinking that we really need to be working. Ginger and I took a few minutes and sat out on our back deck tonight and enjoyed listening to all the frogs that live in and around our little pond. I recorded them for about a minute and I’ve attached the audio file here. Hope you enjoy it. I know we sure are…
